He said the $90 “checks“ come from a little used Medicare “slush fund.“
President Donald Trump announced last week that his administration would be sending $90 rebate “checks“ to 20 million senior citizens enrolled in Medicare to offset the premium cost of Medicare Part B. The majority of the rebates are being paid as direct deposits to the same bank accounts that receive monthly Social Security.
President Trump stated on social media, “I am pleased to announce that my Administration will, immediately, begin sending ‘Checks‘ of nearly $100 to over 20 MILLION wonderful Seniors to help pay for their Medicare Part B premiums, which we have already reduced by significant amounts.“
The president explained that the money would come out of the Medicare Improvement Fund, a “Slush Fund” he described as “pointless.“
“We are finally using this Fund, along with my Most Favored Nations Deals, to substantially LOWER costs for our Seniors. I pledged to protect and preserve Medicare and Social Security, which were on the verge of RUIN,“ President Trump continued. “This is separate from the equally substantial Refund ‘Checks‘ we are sending to One Million Americans who were overcharged for their Unaffordable Care Act plans…“
The president reiterated his pledge that, if his party remains in the majority in Congress after the midterm elections, Americans can “rest assured the highly popular $5,000 Trump Dividend will be distributed to every U.S. Citizen.“
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For President Trump as he evaluates options to reduce the cost of living for Americans, particularly seniors.
- For Administrator Oz and CMS officials as they ensure the Medicare rebates reach senior citizens.
